There’s a New Hotel Coming to Marana in 2023 Springhill Suites

There is a new hotel coming to Marana in 2023. According to the real estate development and construction management company HCW, a Springhill Suites will be built on two acres of land off Marana Center Boulevard near the I-10 and Twin Peaks Road intersection. The site is across from the Tucson Premium Outlets.

“We’re excited to have yet another hotel option with the Town of Marana that provides an alternative level of service for the upper-moderate lodging segment of the hospitality industry. Marana’s robust growth and supportive climate for business continues to get recognition from various local and national industries,” said Curt Woody, Director of Economic Development and Tourism with the Town of Marana.

This will be HCW’s 2nd Springhill Suites by Marriott. The first opened in Goodyear in August of 2020. HCW also has an office based in Phoenix.

HCW says this latest project is a 4-story, 96 room hotel. It will feature a lobby/lounge area with an adjacent exterior social patio, indoor fitness and exterior pool and sun deck.

The hotel is scheduled to open in Summer 2023.

The exterior will feature a contemporary design with stucco finishes with a neutral off-white field color and accents of blue and brown following prototype standards. The landscaping theme will embellish a desert oasis type environment of native indigenous and non-native species and will be of sufficient intensity to create a pleasant and comfortable resort atmosphere for the hotel guest.

SpringHill Suites is a brand of hotels operated by Marriott International. Geared toward the upper-moderate lodging segment of the hospitality industry, the chain consists of all-suite hotels.
